Of Beaches and Bonfires

Tonight in celebration of Jess’ 26th birthday, we had a bonfire on the beach at the Mount.

On our way there we stopped at the Starbucks on the Mount and got black & white hot chocolates. Though it’s spring and the days are nice and warm, the beach tends to be windy and cold in the evenings. Being inside Starbucks was a lovely little taste of home. Thank goodness for chain coffee shops with identical decor and music. It even smelled like home. Read the rest of this entry »





A Pox on the Lousy…er…internet

Last night I sat down to write you all a lovely blog post. (Though you don’t deserve it… replies to the last post were shockingly scanty.) However, even though my computer said that I had internet it lied totally and completely.

So Alissa and I curled up in my bed and watched High School Musical. Side note- that is THE single most uncreative name for a musical ever. Then we decided that a sleepover would be a good choice. So Alissa and I had a sleepover in my room. She’s still asleep but I need to go to the prayer room.
